IC Markets or FP Markets?

Which is better: IC Markets or FPMarkets? I just cancelled my XM subscription. TNX

I only had an account with IC Markets and will never use them again or recommend them to anyone. They exaggerate their reach. Don't believe everything you read on their website. On MT4, you will notice a large spread.

Both FP Markets and IC Markets are licensed brokers. I prefer FP Markets because they offer a broader selection of trading instruments

Both are excellent. Fpmarkets provides excellent customer service. I've been trading with them and am pleased. Good experience.

The majority of people use IC Markets, and I used to trade with them. So I recommend IC Markets (I haven't tried FPMarkets).

FP Markets was where I used to trade. They're a good broker, and I've never had any problems with withdrawals.
I haven't tried IC yet because I've heard so many negative things about them. When it comes to forex brokers, reputation is everything.

IC Markets provides excellent customer service, has a low spread, and no deposit or withdrawal fees. (Because I haven't used FPMarkets, I can't comment on this broker.)

FP Markets, based on my own experience with both brokers. IC Markets lies about their trading conditions; they widen spreads a lot and have a lot of slippage. Platforms constantly freeze, and the server crashed 5 times in 6 months while I was trading!
They almost never followed through on my stop loss or take profit orders without slippage! Fortunately, despite my skepticism at first, I gave FP Markets a try, and everything appears to be fine so far; I will make sure to update the thread if anyone goes wrong, believe me.

I can only speak for ICM, but so far, so good. The customer service is also quick to respond.

I prefer ICMarkets because they are based in Australia and offer a low-spread ECN account.

Yes, between IC and FP markets, FP markets easily win due to their spreads and execution speed; if you're a scalper, execution matters, so FP markets are better in that, plus they're no different than one another, their leverages are the same, and they've been active for a long time, FP 2005 and IC 2007, but why FP Markets, you ask? That is due to the customer support team as well; IC customer support is poor, FP customer support is superior, and FP has a lower opening balance than IC. So give it a shot or do some research to find out for yourself.
